Hi, my name is James Dewar and I am the inventor of WaterTree™.  It's a simple product that makes the job of watering a Christmas tree easier.

Along with many people who want to make their trees last from the first weekend in December into the New Year, I have always watered my Christmas trees regularly.

For me, watering my tree involved lying on the floor with a jug of water and reaching in over presents under the tree to pour water into the tree stand.  On many occasions I have spilled water, and sometimes I have suffered minor shoulder and/or back discomfort from the physical strain of the reaching and twisting needed. I'd knock off needles in the effort, then stand up and find them all over my Christmas jumper!  It's no surprise that many people just don't bother with watering their tree beyond the initial set up.

However, after trying a number of solutions over the years to make the job easier, I devised and used the WaterTree at home over Christmas 2014.  It makes the job of watering really easy.  What's more, the product is simple and therefore inexpensive.  It is 100% made in the UK.
